changes from the original As you might have known, the Sailor Moon dubbed series was changed greatly from the awesome original series. Names were changed, stories warped...just look at the list. - Names were changed. Here's a list: Usagi : Serena Ami : Amy Rei : Raye Makoto : Lita Minako : Mina Umino : Melvin Naru : Molly Dark Kingdom : Nevagerse ...etc. - episodes were cut. 2 was cut because Umino looks up the teacher's skirt, and a few others were cut because they were *unnecessary*. The final Japanese episodes (45 and 46) were made into 1 English episode, completely destroying the finale. - Inappropriate voices were given. Serena does NOT sound 30 in the original, nor does Amy sound...like that, nor does Luna sound like an old British lady, nor does Molly sound like she's from South Side Brooklyn. - Zoicite (one of the 4 Generals) was made into a girl. In the original, he was homosexual and in love with Kuzsite (Malachite in English). Ever wonder why English Zoicite didn't have any brests? :-) - Jupiter's transformation was painted over a little. You know where she turns and you see her backside? You actually see a little butt in the original, but it was painted over. Other nudity was painted over or cut as well. - The great stabbing scene that was supposed to be in "A Crystal Clear Destiny" was cut. NOO! - A lot of the Japanese kanji were taken out. You know "Crossroads Junior High"? It's supposed to say, in Japanese, "Juuban Junior High". Think about it. - In fact, you don't know that it's Japan at all (if you don't recognize kanji)! You can only tell if you watch the end of the second series. Oh brother. There are more. I'll add when I get to them.
