episode 28: tuxedo melvin "Central Control? This is Luna," she says into the Sailor V game screen in the arcade. "New Password: The meatball-headed scout will play when the cat's away." The voice, Central Control, says, "We believe that the fifth Scout will arrive soon." "Great, we need the help!" "As for Serena -" "She's so hard to handle!" The voice tells her that she MUST get her to take this seriously, and they need the crystals back. As the voice fades, Luna says, "Time for an emergency meeting!"... In the Negaverse, Malachite holds up a box, which hold the four crystal they got. "Are they beautiful Zoicite?" Zoicite, hugging him, says, "Once we get the other three, we will be able to fulfill our dreams!" "Hold on. We still don't know how to turn the crystals into the Silver Crystals. We've got a long way to go..." At school, Melvin and Molly sit on a bench, sharing their lunch. Serena comes up behind them and says, "Oh, sharing lunch, are you?" Melvin blushes. Molly does too, and says, "Yeah, that's all we're doing. Now why don't you leave us alone and study for that math test?" Melvin's face turns blue. "THe test! I forgot! I was on the internet all night!" He runs off to study. Turning to Molly, Serena asks, "He ask you out yet?" "No, and I'm afriad to ask him. He might get an acne attack or something. He treats me like a friend, you know?" Serena thinks, "I'll see about that..." "How can I ask her out?" says Melvin. He and Serena and alone in the classroom. "Well, you could show how daring you are!" "Do I look buff to you?" She looks at his weak body and says, "Maybe you could write romantic poetry!" "I tried writing you poems, remember? And you just laughed." "Hey, I'm trying!" Melvin asks, "What is romantic?" She says in an English accent, "Roses, with a black tuxedo and a cape!" She thinks of Tuxedo Mask. Melvin shouts, "Yeah, I'll be dashing!" Serena mutters, "Umm, yeah...and show how brave you are!" He shouts, "No one'll be able to stop me. On behalf of the internet, Tuxedo Melvin will be here!"... Serena and Molly walk down the street. A little dog starts snapping at them, and they scream. "Never fear, ladies! I, Tuxedo Melvin, will protect you!" The woman walking the dog says, "Creep! Come on, Fifi," and they walk away. Molly says, "You're kidding, right?" 'Tuxedo Melvin' says that he will protect them. But they just walk off... At the arcade, as they are about to step inside, 'Tuxedo Melvin' stops them! "This place will run you out of money! I won't let you go in!" He falls to the ground. "You'll have to go over my prone body!" They laugh and walk inside, stepping on him! Inside, Molly says, "He's gone wacko! I liked him better shy." Serena says, "Oh, give him a chance." Then Andrew says to her, "What's up?" She says nervously, "Oh nothing really." "I have these two tickets to see the Wacky Wrestlers. Wanna go?" Serena is extatic and blushes. "Yes!" "Good, becuase I can't go." Serena is crushed. "See, my girlfriend Rita i supossed to be calling me that afternoon from Africa!" Serena turns to Molly and says, "Here's an idea! You're taking Melvin to see the Wrestlers!" "Do I have to?"... "Hey, Melvin?" she says to him. "Would you like to see the Wacky Wrestlers with me tomorrow?" He jumps up and down, excited. "Of course! Maybe I could even challenge one of them! They can't stop Tuxedo Melvin!" Molly sighs... In the Negaverse, the Star Crystal floats out of a green liquid. It glows green, presumably recharged. Zoicite says, "I'm gonna get the Scouts' crystal, and Molly is going to help me!"... Zoicite appears in the jewelry shop (Molly's family lives above it). She looks up to Molly's apartment, ready to strike, when she suddenly saw a figure above. "Tuxedo Mask? Is he setting a trap for me? I'll wait." And she disappears in pink flower petals. But it is not Mask, but Melvin who was up there! "I recognize her! She's from the graveyard!" He calls into Molly's door, "I just averted an intruder!" Molly calls out, "Melvin, go home! It's late!" She slams the door. He says, "I'll stay all night to protect you!" She sighs again... In an amusement park, Serena and Luna walk around. "Why are we following Molly and Melvin anyway? It's not gonna work." Serena says hapily, "He camped out of her apartement last night! It'll work. Why are you so grumpy anyway?" Luna says, "This is pointless! We should be doing Sailor business." But then Serena sees them! "Let's follow them!" And they do... They watch the Wacky Wrestlers, two guys in costumes fake fighting. On a merry go round, Zoicite rides. She pulls out the Star Crystal...Molly and Melvin laugh at the Wrestlers. They start to walk away when Molly drops something. Meanwhile, Zoicite shoots a green projectile from the Crystal at Molly! But as Molly bends down, it hits a Wrestler instead! He transforms into a real monster and starts to throw these green spres at everyone! When it hits a person, it grows around them, and the people start to suffocate... "Something is wrong, isn't it?" says Serena. But as the monster is about to attack Molly, 'Tuxedo Melvin' appears! "Get away from her, and deal with Tuxedo Melvin! These shrimps are spicy, and they'll sting your eyes!" He pulls out his shrimp lunch and throws them at the monster, who is of course unharmed. He throws is bag, but with the same effect. The mosnter punches him, and he is down, saying, "Hurt my girl? NEver!"... "Moon PRism POWER!" And as Serena transforms, Molly is hit by a spore! Moon jumps down to the monster, "If you mess with my friends, you mess with ME!" She goes into her speech, but then Zoicite appears! "I need a favor," she says, floating over to her. "I need that Rainbow Crystal of yours." "No WAY!" "Fine, but then your friend will die!" We see that she is fading fast. Sailor Moon pulls out the Rainbow Crystal from her outfit and hands it over... but a cane knocks it out of Zoicite's hands! "Tuxedo Mask!" He shouts, "YOu aren't getting that crystal!" As they start to battle, Moon grabs the crystal. Zoicite throws energy shards at Mask, but he dodges them. SHe tries again for the same effect, then seemingly disappears into rose petals. As Mask swipes at them, Moon drops the Crystal!... As it rolls away, Zoicite grabs it! Mask is shocked. "HaH! You fell for the petal routine! And now I've got the Crystal!" She disappears for real this time... "I've got to do something about the monster! Moon Tiara MAGIC!" The tiara hits him, knocking him over. "Moon Healing ACTIVATION!" He returns to his normal self., and the spores diappear! "You did a good job Sailor Moon," says Mask. 'But you should have watched the Crystal! NOw I have to get five of them back! And I will." He walks away... In her room, Serena is sad. Luna says, "The Crystal was right there, and I didn't get it! I'm sorry I disappointed you, Serena." Srerena sighs and opens her Locket. "You're not the one who disappointed me," she thinks. As it plays, she thinks, "Please, please let Tuxedo Mask be on our side..." so the day was saved, but the Negaverse got the Crystal! And Mask doesn't seem to be cooperating with the Scouts. Will the fifth Scout come? And is Mask really an enemy?...
