episode 30: a crystal clear destiny Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter all greet Venus. They shake hands, saying, "We're finally a full-fledged team!" Artemis buts in, and in his deep voice says, "Enough of the warm and fuzzy stuff. The NEgaverse isn't playing around." "Ok. We'll have an emergency meeting tomorrow at the temple," says Luna. "Gotcha," says Venus. "Gotta book it!" She and Artemis jump away... In the Negaverse, ZOicite pleads to the Queen, "Please! We can get those Crystals! We must get TUxedo Mask, he has the others!" Beryl says, "He can be a useful ally to us." Malachite is surprised. "But Queen," says Zoicite, "We don't even know who he is!" Beryl says, "You don't. but I do. NOw listen to my orders..." "How could I be so stupid!" Darien's injured shoulder is against his white apartment wall. "Falling for that fake Sailor Moon! Almost got them toasted too!" He thinks back to the four Scouts in the black dome. "If Venus didn't show up, they'd have been done for." He takes his shoulder off, and a spot of blood is left! He bleeds through his shirt too. Disgusted, he sits down on his couch when - "NIce seeing you here Darien, nice place." Darien looks at the figure seen on his TV. "Zoicite!" "Well, hello there, Tuxedo Mask!" Darien is uncomfortable. "What do you want!" "Well, I propose a duel. You and me, for all the Crystals. Starlight Tower at midnight. YOu in?" Darien says determined, "I'm not scared of you. Count me in..." "See ya Miss H, I'm late!" Serena runs out of school, pacing fast. "OH why dopn't teachers understand? Girls got a lot of things to do, Raye'll kill me for being late, ohh!" But then she sees Darien walking slowly down the street. "Bee on your back!" she laughs at him, and slaps him on the back! He screams, then says calmly, "Thanks Meatball Head, I hate bees." She screams, "DOn't call me that!" "Ok, I won't. See ya around Serena!" As he walks off, she looks into the palm of her hand. "Blood! Looks bad," she says, commenting on his condition. "Must be bleeding through his shirt! He's not acting like himself. I have to follow him, to see if he's alright..." Darien walks near the huge Starlight Tower, aching because of his shoulder, when suddenly, a hand pats him on the back! He turns around, doing a karate move, but sees that it's Serena! "Why are you following me?" "Hello, you're bleeding! And I'm sure you didn't get that from karate class, am I right?" He grunts and walks past her. "I'm fine, now leave me alone!" She stalks after him, fuming... As Darien walks down the street, a red light suddenly engulfs him. "Zoicite!" A girl whimpers behind him, "Darien, I'mscared!" - Serena! "Serena, get out of here!" But the light engulfs them both, and takes them both into the tower... "She's really late!" comments Amy. Her and Lita and Raye are at the temple. "She's not a Sailor Scout, she's a FAILURE scout!" shouts Raye. "She's late, even for her!" says Lita. But suddenly - "Is this where the Sailor Scout meeting is?" The girl has on a different school uniform, with blonde hair. "I must be in the right place! My name's Mina." Amy says, shocked, "Venus, is that you!" "Yes." "YOu look so different!" (She doesn't, trust me.) She giggles, "We all look different in real life! It looks like you were fighting over Serena being late." They nod. Mina says, "Come on, we got bad vibes by the Starlight Tower. Coming?" They all nod and run off... Zoicite holds her five crystals in her hands, Darien's two in his, Serena knocked out on the ground in the building. "Hand over the crystals!" says Darien. "First yours," says Zoicite. THey both put they crystals in the center of the room. Zoicite stands back and laughs, and Malachite comes and takes them! "You double crossed me!" Malavhite says, "Someone has to hold them." He goes over to Zoicite and tells her not to overdo the battle. She agrees... Serena opens her eyes. SHe sees "Zocite and Malachite! Have they come for me?" Darien says that they should start. But Zoicite laughs and disappears, saying, "Not now. Meet me on the roof in five minutes, otherwise the crystals are all mine!"... But the room starts to freeze over, icicles falling from the celing! Serena and Darien run to the safe haven of the elevator, barely dodging fatal ice. Inside, as Serena hits the 'up' button, the elevator door disappears! The elevator starts to go up, huge window looking out onto Tokyo. Serena asks Darien coyily, "So, Darien, why you after the Rainbow Crystals? oops., shouldn't have asked that." He says reflectively, "I need to know who I really am." Serena gasps... "When I was little, my parents dies in a car accident. I had complete amnesia, and they said that my name is Darien, so I accepted it. They sent me to an orphanage, and I lived there until I could get a job. ANd here I am." Serena gasps again, regretful. "I would'nt mind, but I have his recurring dream! There's this beautiful princess waiting for me, telling me to get this Silver Crystal! I know taht the Rainbow Crystals are the key to everything!" Serena says to him, "Well, thanks for telling me." "Sure, Meatball Head." "Hey, remember taht you promised never to call me that? Remember?" He laughs, "I remember..." Marsd, Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus stand at the Starlight Tower. Mercury scans the place. "Hey! IN taht elevator, Serena is trapped with Darien!" they all gasp. "And all the doors are sealed! There's no way in!" "I call upon Jupiter, help my bust into the building! Jupiter Thunder CRASH!" The door breaks from the lightning. She says to the others, "Nothing like the direct approach." They run inside... ON the roof, Malachite stands. He says, "This universe will be no more. Only the Negaverse will prevail!" And as he says this, his eyes glow white, and the entire city goes black, out of electricity! Inside, the four Scouts realize that something is about to happen. Outside, we see that the building turns into a building like one in the Neegaverse! "This isn't good, we have to hurry,. before it's too late!"... The elevator stops. Above, Zoicite throws some fire between her hands. "I know we're supposed to take him, but this is my chance! I'll just tell Beryl it was an accident." And she thorws spiraled fire down! "Oh no, FIRE!" they shout. Serena thinks, "Sailor Moon could get us out of this one. But Darien'll know who I really am! Only one choice now..." "I'm coming for you, Zoicite!" Serena shouts, to Darien's surprise. "Moon Prism POWER!" And as she transforms, DArien stands in awe, saying, "It's her! Serena's Sailor Moon!" And Zoicite walks away from the elevator, thinking that they have been burned to a crisp. "Hey ZOICITE!" someone shouts... "SAILOR MOON! How'd you get here? Anyway, I'm not after you, just Tuxedo Mask." Sailor Moon looks at Zoicite dumbfounded. "Duh, he's not even here!" "Yes I am!" Darien says behind her. Without turning around, Sailor Moon says, "You are?" "Yeah." He takes out a rose. "Oh my god he really is Tuxedo Mask I don't believe it..." hOlding out the rose, his cape and outfit forms, glowing. He spins his cap aorund, grabs it and poses, "I am Tuxedo Mask!" "I'm gonna have to get used to this," thinks Sailor Moon. To Zoicite, he says, "I'll fight! But it has to be fair, and you have to guarentee Sailor Moon's safety! I must get the Crystals on my own!" Zoicite says, "Sure, sure." But as they are about to start, something glimmers behind Mask... a shards forms behind him, and before Moon can worn him, it pierces his skin, and he falls! Moon rushes over to him, "MY TUXEDO MASK! NO!" She holds him in his arms. "It's up to you to get the Crystals now! And Sailor Moon," he smiles, "I've always been on your side." His head falls back... "There's Sailor Moon, and Tuxedo Mask!" says the Scouts, finally reaching the room. "Yeah, but we're too late!" says Raye... ("My Only Love", a great song, starts to play.) Moon sheds a single tear, one with the weight of the world in it. But it begins to glow...all seven rainbow crystal suddenly fly from Malachite and to the room, and they start going into the Crystal. And suddenely - "The SIlver Imperium Crystal!" shouts Luna. "The Princess will be revealed!"... The spherical, shining white Silver Crystal puts itself automatically into Moon's Crescent Moon Wand. And suddenly, almost in a trace, Sailor Moon gets up to take it. A crescent moon mark appears on her forehead... "Serena's the Moon Princess!" shouts Amy. And indeed, her Sailor outfit turns into a beautiful dress, and she holds the Wand with the Silver Crystal, looking sad and surprised at the same time. "Me, a Princess? Who knew?..." Wow! We now know that Darien is Tuxedo Mask, and lo and behold, Serena is the coveted Moon Princess! But Mask is still down. Can Serena harness the power of the Crystal? And is it too late?...
