episode 33: little miss manners Outside a huge estate, a guy in a tuxedo (not Tuxedo Mask) opens a car door, and three girls with bowed heads walk inside the mansion. "Wow, Molly, what's going on?" asks Serena. "Didn't you hear? This is the Rose Finishing School." "You mean like Countess Rose?" "Yeah!" says Molly. "Those girls are in the princess seminar. They're going to be like real princesses!" Serena looks starryeyed, "Real princesses? Wow..." In school, as Miss H goes over (inexplicably) English homework (they are in Japan, remember...), Serena is asleep, dreaming. "Now presenting Princess Serena!" a man says in the dream. She comes out in a kewl dress, and Tuxedo mask dances with her. Miss H (in the dream) yells at her, but Serena holds up her hand, and Miss H bows to her... "Serena? SERENA!" "Huh? Princesses shouldn't be yelled at," says a groggy Serena. "You're still half-asleep!" shouts Miss H. "Now, did you do your English homework?" "umm...." "OUTSIDE! NOW!"...outside, Luna catches up to her. "Maybe you should go to this school, Serena, to learn to be a princess." Serena jumps up and down excitedly, "Yeah, then maybe Tuxedo Mask will like me again!" "that's not what I ment!"... At the Crown Game Center, Luna goes to the Sailor V game. "Central Control, this is Luna. Password: The cat who chases its tail leaves a circular trail." The weird picture comes on the screen once more. "What's up Luna?" "I feel like I'M chasing my tail when it comes to Serena!" the voice says, "I realize that she can be a vexing girl, but - " suddenly, the picture shorts out, and who appears on the screen but Artemis! "Why didn't you TELL ME that you were central controL!" she shouts at him. He laughs and says, "I guess it never came up! So what's shakin' Luna?" "Oh, give me a break!"... In the Negaverse, Prince Darien and Malachite face Beryl. "I will take no insubordination from you. Work together to get that Crystal!" Darien says, "I work better alone." Malachite agrees, and they glare at each other coldly. Beryl says, "I see," pondering. "I already have a plan in place," says Malachite. "Very good..." Luna and Serena sit, perched on a tree branch above the Finishing school. Serena looks in and screams, "They have chocolate cheesecake in there, my favorite!" Luna groans. The man in the tuxedo says to them from below, "It is more proper to use the door when entering." They both fall out of the tree (with big sweap drops on their heads). Serena gets up and begs, "Pretty please can I take your princess seminar?" "Only those recomended may get in." Serena picks up a deranged Luna and says, "Ask her, she'll recommend me for sure!" Countess Rose, a tall, slender woman with brown hair, laughs. "What a vivatious young woman! I think that in this case, we shall make an exception. But there is a small catch." Serena says, "oh, what is it, that I'm clumsy, and don't know table manners, or any manners, actually...but outdoor sports, count me in! Unless I have to run..." Countess laughs, "No real lady likes to run! Charles, get the discus." The man bring one out and hands it to her. He whispers, "If you are good at the discus, you will be allowed in." So she throws it, in the same way she throws her tiara, and it is an amazing shot, going in the building and out again like a boomerang! "Wow! You're in." Serena jumps for joy!... At the temple, the four girls besides Serena and the cats talk. "So Serena's taking a princess class!" says Lita. Raye snides, "Oh, like she needs that." Amy snaps, "Come on Raye, at least she's trying!" Artemis says that there is more to being a princess then looks. "I mean, well, it comes from the heart, being a princess. It's more than looks or manners." The others ponder this for a minute, then Amy says, "I got it! Let's check it out, crash the seminar!" Simultaneously: "YEAH!"... At the School, all the girls (around 12 or so) are in English riding outfits (red jacket, black pants) and are throwing the discus. "Wow, they're all so polite," Serena thinks. She hurls it at her partner, saying "Heads up!" and it shoots back at her like a boomerang. "If this is all there is to being a princess, I've got it bagged!"... in a room in the estate, Rose says, "Mr. Malachite?" Malachite comes out of the shadows. "She really is quite good, maybe she's the one." "That would explain it. Sailor Moon's tiara turns into a discus when she throws it." Rose says, "But she is definately not princess material. Would she fall into this trap so easily?" Malachite laughs, "Sailor Moon is very gullible!" And Serena throws the discus again... inside, the 12 girls sit at a dinner table, wearing these pink dresses (I think with corsets). "Why do these have to be so TIGHT!" Serena thinks, face turning blue. "They all have such good posture..." she thinks, looking at the otrhers. Finally soup is served, and Serena starts slurping it down. The other watch in silence at the bad manners of Serena. "Miss, young ladies don't slurp!" says Charles (the tuxedo guy). But she still does, and says, "Why does eating here have to be so hard!"...in a room, they all sit on couches with perfect posture, but Serena sits slouched. Rose goes on about serving guests, and Serena starts to doze - "Serena!" She gets up startled, "Yes?" Rose asks, "How would you serve your guests cocoa?" (Sweat drop) "Let's see, co...cocoa's on, come and get it?" she laughs, along with the other girls. "Umm...saying 'have some cocoa please' is much more preferable," Rose sighs... All the girls are in these sleeveless lavender dresses (chic!), dancing with hired guys in tuxedos. "Remember, class, this is the last lesson! All those whose shoulders I touch will pass the Seminar!" All the girls ballroom dance beautifully, except for Serena, who steps on her escort's foot! "OHOHOHO!" "Umm....sorry..." but she trips over her own dress and falls! She loks up to see - "Raye, you guys all came?" All the girls are there! "Yeah, " says Amy, "We couldn't miss this!" Amy dances gracefully with her escort (and she looks really kewl *yay*), as does Lita. Raye makes a face and says, "This is boring!" She starts throwing her guy around. "Yeah, let's make up our own dances!" says Mina. Her, Raye, and Serena all dance around, but steps on their escorts' feet! "Sorry! We don't know how to dance very well!"... "You pass, and you pass do!" says the Countess, touching shoulders. She comes over to Lita and Amy and passes them as well. The muusic stops. "All of you who passed can go into the room over there to get your certificates!" They all go in - except for an upset Mina, Raye, and Serena! "not fair, why didn't we pass!"... Inside, Lita and amy (and the others) see a bunch of wax figures, shaped like girls in dresses. "What's with all the mannequins?" asks Lita. Rose says, "They're not mannequins, but real girls who passed my course! LOVELY POSTURE, hmm?" Suddenly, her body glows red, and she turns into a NegaMonster, wearing a nive skirt covered in seashells! "Polite Society at your service," she bows to them, then shoots out all this green stuff from the shells! As everyone screams, they are all covered in wax, turned into helpless statues!... "Did you hear those screams?" asks Mina. "let's see what's going on!" but Polite Socitey stops them,a nd they gasp. "So, none of you passed my course. But that means that one of you MUST be Sailor Moon, since she never passes my class!" "Why so?" asks Serena. "Sailor Moon is a clumzy braindead ditz who could never pull it off!" "So she's clumzy," says Raye. Mina adds, "And not that ditzy!" Serena shouts at them, "I'M NOT THAT BAD!" They groan. POlite Society says, "So you're Sailor Moon!" and she shoots out the green wax, which they just miss! They jump out the window dodging them - "Moon Prism Power!" "Mars Power!" "Venus power!"... Polite Society is on the grounds of the estate when she hears - "Up here, you polite piece of Nega TRASH!" The Scouts go into thei speeches and jump down. "Mars Fire IGNITE!" But the wax covers the flame. "Venus Cresent Beam Smash!" But it is stopped as well! "Oh no guys, what if my Wand doesn't work either?" asks Moon. But suddenly, a rose cuts across the scene. "Tuxedo mask!"... She sees him approaching. "Good evening Prince Darien," says the monster, courtseying. "You too, Polite Society. Now, Sailor Moon, I WANT that Crystal!" She is wide-eyed and teary. "You can't mean that! You aren't the same man I once knew!" and indeed, he looks colder than before. "Come on now!" Polite Socitey yells at him, "You're interuppting Malachite's plan!" "I don't go by plans, just by orders!" But suddenly, Malahcite appears. "What are you doing!" he shouts. "I'm getting the Crystal!" Malachite says, "Polite Socitey, get Sailor Moon!" "The Crystal!" "SAILORMOON!" "SILVER CRYSTAL!" "SAILOR MOON!" "THE CRYSTAL!"... Polite Society shrugs, "All these orders are giving me a headache!" Moon comes over to her and asks, "Would you like a cup of cocoa?" "yes, thank you." "Ah-hah!" Seeing the good left in her, she does her thing - "Moon Healing Activation!" she is turned back to Countess Rose and faints, and Malachite leaves disgusted. "Now, for my beloved Tuxedo Mask. Moon...HEALING..." but Mask floats off. "Keel it for now, but I'll get the Crystal next time!" He is gone. "WHAT!" Mars, too, looks a bit teary-eyed... Inside the room, all the girls beocme human again. "What?" says Lita, confused, as does everyone else. They all look at each other, wondering what had happened, when they see Sailor Moon's sillouette against a curtain. Lita and Amy smile... Serena runs out of her house, eating a piece of bread as she spints to school. "What happened to being a princess?" wonders Luna. "I'm still working on it, when I'm not late for class, or busy with something else!" She books it again, but her food starts to fall out of her mouth. "AHH!"... so the day was saved, along with Countess Rose. But Darien is still evil! Can the Scvouts ever get him back? And what will happen to his and Malachite's rivalry?...
