episode 47: much ado about babysitting At the Doom Tree, Ann and Alan disscuss a new form of energy: babies. They have much energy, and they awaken a cardian to get it... At a daycare center, a mother, Mrs.Winston, goes to pick up her little baby boy, Jordan. Then, Amy and Serena walk by, and comment on how cute their neighbor's baby is. But as the chatting goes on, a strange light can be seen from above. A beautiful - deadly - woman, the cardian, puts her hands together, and glowing strings flow from them. They wrap around all the abaies - and their mothers - and sucks their energy dry. It then disappears. Serena and Amy are in shock, and Darien walks by, screaming "Call an ambulance!"... At the hospital, Serena, Darien and Amy sit by the weakened people. Amy says that Jordan is fine, but Mrs. Winston isn't doing too well. The hospital needs someone to take Jordan for a week while she recovers! Amy can't, so Darien says that he'll do it. Serena, suprised, says that he can't take care of it, and so they left the hospital together, Serena in spite, for Darien's apartment... At the apartment, the baby starts to cry. They make funny faces at it, and the baby thinks how stupid they look. It is still crying, and they rush around, until realizing that it is hungry. They set a bet: if Jordan walks before he talks, Serena gets 10 bucks (and vice versa)... The next day, Serena is pushing the stroller while Darien holds the baby supplies. Mina and Lita see them and say how cute they look. Serena gets red-faced (literally!) but she calms down. Amy whispers that Raye is doing a fire reading, and Serena goes with her... At the reading, they see the face of the cardian. Serena and Amy confirm it. But then Serena leaves, talking about Jordan. Soon after she left, Raye says that the Scouts must be ready at any moment... Later, Ann comes in (when Serena's not around)to try to help with the baby. She tries (but fails). Serena then came in, and Ann walked off, upset. Darien screamed, "Ann don't go!" Serena, hearing this, got upset, and told him that she's sick of how he treats her. But as they are arguing, the baby stands on its own. It walks towards a tissue box and plops in front of it happily. Serena and Darien hold hands, jumping up and down like mad! But then Amy comes in, whispering that the Scouts are needed. Serena makes an excuse and books it... Meanwhile, at another daycare center, the cardian begins to drain more babies' energy. But suddenly, Sailors Mars, Jupiter and Venus appear! They give their speeches, and Venus tries her "Venus Cresent Beam (note - I called it "cresent - v" in other summaries by accident. sorry!) Smash!" but it didn't work. The monster then enclosed the babies in these weird bubbles, and drained the Scouts' energy!!... Amy and Serena suddenly arrive at the scene. Seeing the catastrophe, they shout "Moon Crystal Power!" "Mercury Power!" and the remaining two Scouts arrived. But soon after their transformations, the monster begins to suck their energy as well. All seemed lost... But suddenly, a white rose flew by, cutting the strings and releasing Moon and Mercury. It was the Moonlight Knight! He said that the Scouts needed to stop the monster, or else no baby would be safe. Mercury was fuming at this point!!!! Angry with all her might, she screamed, "Mercury Ice Bubbles FREEZE!" and froze the monster. Moon was shocked by her new power, but proceeded to shout "Moon Scepter Elimination!". The monster was gone, and the babies were saved... Later, at the hospital, Mrs. Winston was let out. She was so happy to see her on again! But Serena and Darien gave him a few parting words. Suddenly, he turned to Darien, and said, "Bye Darien!" turning to Serena, he said, "Bye Meatball-Head!". Mrs.Winston left. Serena and Darien jumped up and down. They said, "We're geniuses! We made him walk and talk!"... The day was saved, Mercury got a new power, and Serena and Darien might have just rekindled some of their eternal friendship...
