episode 58: trouble comes thundering in The four girls and Rubius are in their UFO above the Earth. Rubius says that Princess Serena is most scared of thunder, so Prizma (one of the sisters) says that she will take care of it. She sends out a droid "Thunderclap" to create a huge storm... Serena, hating thunder, runs home, only to be confronted by Luna, who tells her that she needs to pick up Rini from swim class. As she goes over, she complains on the storm... At the class, each kid is being picked up by their parents. Finally, Rini is left alone. She cries, and sees a flashback of her parents, and her under an umbrella in the rain. She, while crying, says, "Mommy. Daddy. Darien!" And she runs away. So Serena shows up, and no one is there!... After looking everywhere, she calls her house. Sammy, who is playing a Sailor Moon video game :-) picks it up. Serena tells her brother of the dilemma. He says that he will keep watch and then hangs up. Serena is in dismay, about the storm and about Rini... She runs out in the rain, looking for Rini, when she suddenly bumps into someone - Darien! She holds onto him and says, "Sarien, you have to help me! Rini's missing!" He is shocked, but then a huge clap of thunder sounds, and she hugs him. He pulls her away, saying that "I can't be with you anymore. But I will help you find her!" He runs off looking, and Serena happily runs after him... Inside a resturaunt (maybe its just a diner..._, Amy and Lita sit, talking about the storm. Suddenly, Raye and Mina showed up! They all talk about how they were "destined to meet" and "karmic energy". Lita notes that Serena is missing, and Raye complains that she "doesn't have a karmic bone in her body. Except when it comes to food." The others groan... Outside, Rini stops running and sits in a corner with the Luna Ball. Scared, she hits a button on the ball, and suddenly, in one of its eyes, a figure of a woman, blurry, appears! Rini says, "Can I use the key to go home now?" The figure (who sounded just like Luna) said that it is too dangerous, and that she needed to get the Crystal before she came back home. The figure disappeared. But in that rain, alone and scared, she didn't care. She took out the "Crystal Key" that she had been wearing as a necklace, held it up and shouted, "Crystal KeY! TAKE ME HOME!"... It glowed, Rini crying, but suddenly, colorful beams of light formed across the landscape. Outside where Rini was, and inside the resturaunt, gravity faded! Rini was now floating, as were the four girls! Rini, scared and upset, began to wail, and the sign of the moon appeared on her forehead. Energy poured out into the sky from it: The Moonbeam! Prizma saw it and again dispatched Thunderclap... The droid found and confronted Rini. Using her drum, she shot out lightning, scaring Rini! Rini then "swam", so to speak, into the resturaunt. The girls shotued, "Hey, isn't that Rini?" They then saw the Thunderclap come in. "Oh no a Negamonster!" Meanwhile, Serena and Darien saw the Moonbeam as well. Serena knew that Rini was in danger and ran to the site... when she walked in, she, too, floated! She was scared at first, but then saw the droid chasing Rini around! It suddenly used a hairdryer to blow Amy, Lita, Mina, Raye, and Rini against a wall, knocing them out. Serena saw this and could wait no longer..."Moon Crystal Power!"... Rini, waking up, saw the sailor-suited pretty soldier (for English fans, this is the translation of the Japanese show title). She gasped, saying, "Who are you?!" And Sailor Moon replied, giving her speech! Rini was dazzled, but Thunderclap was not impressed. First, the droid thrust her down, then shocked her with lightning! Just when all seemed lost, out came Tuxedo Mask... throwing a rose through the drum, Thunderclap began to short out! Rini was shocked, and so Tuxedo Mask introduced himself. The droid and the Mask began to fight, and he shouted, "Do it now, Sailor Moon!" And she did - "Moon Scepter Elimination!" The monster was destroyed... Rini's key glowed again, and she came down gracefully, the others of course fell on their butts! Rini then apologized. "I caused this. I'm sorry! I was just trying to get home!" Amy, shocked, asked, "Where is home?" "where my Mommy and Daddy are." Lita said, "We won't hurt you," while grabbing on to her. Sailor Moon said, "Yeah, Rini, maybe we can help you!" Rini gasped at this, then Mina said, "Yeah, tell us!"... Tuxedo Mask interjected. "Mina, she probably has a good reason not to tell us anything." A suprised Sailor Moon muttered, "Really?" Rini cried happily, ran over to him, and cried out, "Tuxedo Mask!" He wrapped her in his cape and they walked out... Outside, Mina, Lita, Amy, Raye, and the de-transformed Serena looked at Tuxedo Mask walking with Rini on a bridge. Rini was annoyingly singing, "Rain or Shine, I'm happiest/When I'm with Tuxedo Mask!/He makes me sing he makes me laugh/I just love Tuxedo Mask!" Serena, mad, imitated her. Then she said mockingly, "But she's just a KID, right? And I shouldn't be WORRIED, right?"... Suddenly, a rainbow appeared, beautifully! As the Mask and Rini stared up admirimgly, the girls looked up gleefullly. Serena thought, "I know everything will turn out alright." So Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask saved Rini this time. But it wouldn't be the last time...
