episode 81: final battle Wiseman looks at the Crystal readings. "Wicked Lady, it is time to open the Dark Gate!" At the Dark Gate, the Scouts plead with the evil one, but Wicked Lady shruggs it off. Sailor Moon begs and gets on her knees, but she screams, "FIRE!" All of a sudden, this purplish electricity hits Darien, and he falls into Sailor Moon's arms. "Darien, NO!" Wicked Lady is confused. "Why do you risk your life to be with Darien?" "For LOVE!" "Love? But you only care about yourselves!" "I may be a little selfish, but we do love each other. And we love you." "Have I misunderstood?"... "Wicked Lady needs another blast from the Dark Crystal to regain her true memories!" shouts Wiseman. In a flash, a column of purple light hits her. She says, "I know the truth now. I must accept the Darkness. The Dark Crystal's poer will go through me, and Earth will be destroyed!" She shoots a dark wind at them all, and Sailor Moon and the other fall to their knees. Sailor Moon and Darien grasp hands - "We must do it together..." They stand somehow and confront Wicked Lady. "This is not you, Rini!" But she doesn't care, and shoots energy at Sailor Moon. The Silver Crystal's locket opens, and she shouts, "Moon Crystal Power!" A huge white light engulfs her, and when she comes out of it, she has transformed into none other than - "Neo Queen Serenity!" "Mommy, is that you?" Serenity smiles. "Yes, honey, it is. Now, think back..." her cresent moon mark glows, as does the black moon mark..."We didn't help you up in the rain becuase you weren't hurt. We wanted you to learn to do things for yourself, so that you wouldn't always cry. We did it out of love!" Wiseman sees this. "They are all LIES!" he shouts. Suddenly, a HUGE column of purplish light engulfs Wicked Lady, Neo Queen Serenity, and Darien... "You have always been alone! No one loves you!" shouts Wiseman. "I am alone...no one loves me..." "Rini, honey, it just isn't true! Think about all the fun times we had!" She thinks about her hanging out with Amy, dancing with Raye, cooking with Lita, being "Nurse Venus"'s helper, being with Darien...and Serena saying, "Don't worry, Rini, I'll always be there for you!" Wicked Lady confronts the Queen and Darien. "I...I was never alone...I am loved!"... The column dissapates, and Sailor Moon, Darien, and the young, kawaii Rini float down. "Rini! You're all right!" they shout. BUt she is asleep. "Rini, wake up! Come on honey!" Rini stirrs. "Can I have some pancakes?" Sailor Moon laughs. "Of course you can!" Rini begins, "I never was alone, was I? Once I started to remember, I felt warm inside." Sailor Moon says, "That's becuase we all love you. Oh, Rini!" Sailor Moon falls, weakened by her use of the Crystal. But she says that she is OK... But Wiseman would not allow this! He appeared to the Scouts and the reformed Rini. "It doesn't matter! The Dark Gate is already opening!" IN Tokyo, we see that the Dark Crystal glows a purplish light. All the surrounding houses turn dark - "You can't stop me! For I am the DOOM PHANTOM!!!" He shoots a tremendous force at them all. The Scouts are on their knees, almost bowing, and Darien holds tight to Rini. But Sailor Moon is still up, though weak. The locket opens again. "I will not let you destroy this world! All those lives! I, on behalf of the moon, will not let this happen!! Moon Crystal Power!"... In a flash of light, she becomes Neo Queen Serenity again. The Doom Phantom shoots black energy, and she shoots the white energy. They clash (and one of those corny SM songs begins to play). The Queen is weak, however, and struggles in this epic battle. "Stay strong!" yell the Scouts. "We believe in you!" says Darien. With this encouragement, Neo Queen Serenity stays in the fight. But it seemed bleak... Rini begins to cry is Darien's arms. "Darien, it's all my fault. This whole thing is all my fault!" A single tear falls onto her cheek. But it glows... The tear turns circular - "Another Silver Crystal?" But, in the flesh, lay another Crystal. "Now I know where the Crystal went when I lost it - into my body!!" says Rini. She stands, Crystal in hand... "Rini, don't fight!" shouts Darien. "It's too dangerous!" "I don't care! You all risked your lives for me. Darien, I promise I won't lose it this time, but I must fight!" Darien nods. "We must do all we can to help Serena!" Rini holds up the Crystal, and in a flash, she turns into a young Princess of the Moon, in an outfit just like Princess Serena's! "Oh, Rini..." says the Queen... "What? TWO Silver Crystals?!!" shouts Doom Phantom. "Combine your powers!" says Darien. The fallen Scouts miraculously arise - "For the Earth!" "For the millions of lives!" "For the future generations!" "Mercury Star Power!" "Mars Star Power!" "Jupiter Star Power!" "Venus Star Power!" Doom Phantom laughs, "All that power can't destroy me!" But the Queen and the Princess' Crystals absorb the Scouts energy and say, "Moon Crystal Power! Be gone forever! AHH!"... All of a sudden, they are all engulfed in a HUGE pink light! "NOOO! YOU CAN'T DEFEAT THE DOOM PHANTOM!" But the Dark Crystal indicator suddenly shatters... "We did it Rini!", says Sailor Moon. Her and Rini are in a pink limbo. "Yeah, we did!" Then the voice of the Queen says, "You should go! Your friends are waiting for you..." "Serena?!" cries Darien, holding her in his arms. She stirs. "Darien!" "Oh, Serena!" The Scouts all sigh with relief. "Rini? RINI!" She shouts as the child awakens. She cires and hugs her. In teh past, the Dark Crystal shrinks and shrivels until it is completely vanished! Luna says with joy, "Somehow, Artemis, they saved the world..." At the pier, they all stand. Mina, Lita, Amy, and Raye stand around Rini, wishing her good-bye. They each exchange words, and they are happy to see Rini go back. But then they part, and only Serena and Darien remain to say good-bye. "Go on Serena," says Darien. Rini and Serena walk up to each other. Their eyes waver, and suddenly they hug each other, crying heavily, 'I'll mmiss you so much!" Then Rini gets up, smiles, holds up the Crystal Key, and vanishes. "Then I guess that's...goodbye..." remarks Serena sadly. Darien says, "But not for long!" They smile at each other... It is a bright day in Crystal Tokyo. All is once again at peace. Rini happily runs, smiling and laughing. She stops to take in the sight. Then, in front of her, she sees the future Scouts, Neo Queen Serenity, and the King! She walks up to them calmly and cutely curtsies to them all. They smile in approval. Then, suddenly, Rini runs up to the Queen and falls in her arms. "Mommy!" "Oh, honey. You saved our world!" We see a large picture of the beautiful utopia. "Rini, welcome home!"... Rini had truly saved the day. And so ended the battle between the forces of good and evil, at least for now. But who knows what will come around the bend in the future?...
